Family nail salon · Virginia Beach, Virginia

Come in, sit down, pick a color.

A family salon on Laskin Road with eight of us at the tables and regulars who have sat in the same chair for twenty years. Walk in, or book a time. New faces are always welcome.

Our story

Twenty-five years on one corner

A short history of the salon, for the regulars who were here for it.

  1. 1998

Step 1: Two chairs and a rack of polish

Divina and her sister Remedios opened with two manicure tables and a front window on Laskin Road, mostly for neighbors and families from the base.

  2. 2004

    Step 2: The pedicure chairs

A row of pedicure chairs went in along the wall, and regulars started coming in with their mothers and their daughters.

  3. 2012

    Step 3: The next generation

Divina's daughter Jhanelle started on the counter after school. Today she does most of the nail art.

  4. Today

Step 4: Eight of us at the tables

Family, and friends who became family. The same front door, the same hello, and a color wall that keeps growing.
